click on map to enlarge		 Most accommodation in Placencia is basic (guesthouses) or luxurious (resorts). Our concrete constructed apartment villa offers aggressivelly priced accommodation steps away from the beach and some 1/2 mile (800m) from the tourist office. We selected a location in Harbour Place, the residential part of the village with lovely houses along a canal with impressive yachts (free of night life noise) as opposed to a beach front (noisy, plenty of bugs, safety problems). In building it in 2007 at 250m/yards from the beach, we put a lot of emphasis on hygiene (virtually bugs free), safety (solid burglar protection + alarm) and comfort. The 4 suites of 330 sqft (30m2), which can cater up to 4 people, have 2 fans, a kitchen with stove, fridge microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster and all cooking utensils, bathroom with shower, television, a queens bed and a fold away single on demand, a counter and 2 to 4 stools and a table with 2 to 4 chairs for inside and outside use. All suites have AC and WiFi, premium suites have a futon and their own porch with hammock to enjoy lazy moments after an active day. The roof top sun deck overlooking the sea, lagoon and Maya Mountains offers breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets; it can also be used as "private" sun deck. You can get picked up for your fishing and diving at our dock in the lagoon. Sympathetic tenants get a free sailing trip with snorkeling weather permitting. Check the rental conditions. Groups of 5 and more persons can sometimes better rent a cabana or a house. We are happy to help them find an appropriate place to stay with our neighbours
